'Select All' menu option does not select all text as it used to.
It only selects the text shown in the window not the scrollback buffer,
without any warning, or change in menu option name.

This change in long-standing behaviour is not mentioned in the changelog

I've found this also affects the new Stable (Bullseye). One workaround
is to select the first line, then scroll all the way down, hold Shift
and click on the last line.
