Hey.

This bug exists since quite a while and I even remember that it already used to be there
much earlier but vanished again after some longer time.

What happens is the following:

When I open a gnome-terminal window and do something like:
$ eog & exit

I still see:
[1] 98788
exit

and there it takes 1-3 seconds until the window really closes.

Maybe this is now intended (so that one can see the final output), but since it might be some
bug and is (at least for me personally) rather annoying, I wanted to tell :-)
