Dear Maintainer,

Changing the Display Units to anything other than the default mm throws off the
measurement path effect.

Attached documents includes a box scaled to 5 x 10 inch with measurement path
applied.

With the default display unit (mm), the measurements are displayed correctly.
The file with display unit changed to inches shows an incorrect measurement.
Other units are also affected, for example: cm is off by a factor of x10.

The linked issue is similar. From what I found from my search, this
issue is related to:
https://gitlab.com/inkscape/inkscape/-/issues/1746

and the issue you linked above. Both of which can also be replicated
with a new installation of inkscape from the debian repos.

Thank you.  I've set this debian bug to track this one then.

Following both bug reports there seems to be several bugs concerning
this feature.  Hopefully they'll be fixed at some point.
