I use user-callback to mount and unmount a local file system which I use for the backup. If I call backintime-qt, start a new backup from the gui, and then exit the gui, the volume gets unmounted and the backup fails.

As c.buhtz wrote the bug has already been reported to the backintime team and a fix is work in progress via this related issue: https://github.com/bit-team/backintime/issues/724 Please note that the published patch does only fix the backintime GUI issues but (most probably) not the unwanted umount when the GUI is quit Please check to the issue status there for updates/fixes...
