Dear Maintainer,

Regarding the issue https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=985665
it would be interesting to test simple alternatives and check if it pulls
greater maximum version than by the current one given by content of the d/watch
file.
In this case simply by replacing \.tar\.gz by @ARCHIVE_EXT@ improves the uscan
result.
At least, this could target then an activity for lintian-brush/Janitor & co.
