Dear Maintainer,

when i click on "general" in the applet config dialogue, KDE-UI does not react
on any click: I cant open the K-menue, clicks on the taskbar are not working.
If Dolphin is already open, I can still click access files and start their
corresponding program. But the rest of the UI just "hangs" for over a minute.

After it has finished the "hang" all actions which I tried during the "hang"
are executed then.

How to reproduce:

1. click on "general" in the applet-config window
2. try to open the K-menu or try to click on a window in the taskbar, it will
not work until the "general" dialogue appears
