Dear Maintainer,
I use Debian Buster as guest, but the problem also happens for Ubuntu 20.04
as well as Debian Bullseye/testing so I
think the problem lies in the host (running Debian Bullseye/current testing).
I use the guest through virt-manager, running Gnome both in the host and guest.
When there is a large change in the graphics in the guest, such as scrolling
fast on a web page, virt-manager and it's windows (also for other guests) disappear.
In /var/log/syslog, the following message appears:
Apr 30 08:53:48 flygfisken libvirtd[876]: End of file while reading data: In/ut-fel
(sorry for the localized message, In/ut-fel is In/out error in English)
I can open virt-manager again, the machines still run, but it's a bit
annoying since one has to be careful with using the guest.
I tried using another video model such as Virtio but it does not help.
With virtio, disabling or disabling 3d acceleration does not affect the behaviour.
Thanks,
Paul
