blinka provides code to emulate the main CircuitPython packages on
supported Single Board Computers such as the Raspberry Pi.

This provides a beginner-friendly environment to program the GPIO pins
available on such boards.

I think this package can fall under the scope of the Python Team.

I would be happy to maintain this package within the Debian Python team. One of its required dependencies is adafruit-platformdetect, and I have created an ITP bug for it too - #1116581.
