Dear Maintainer,

I think I default installed Debian bullseye and Grub is configured to
use graphical framebuffer and render text. When invoked from there
memtest86+ doesn't seem to update the screen at all (presumably trying
to write to text buffer?).

Hi,

Seems like I was too quick to decide it was graphics mode, after setting /etc/default/grub with:

  # Uncomment to disable graphical terminal (grub-pc only)
  GRUB_TERMINAL=console

with a text mode console, after selecting memtest86+ in grub menu the
screen is black and nothing appears. Might be something with the
machine.

Hi, thanks for replt, is high probable you don't have issue with grub
itself but memtest86+, the version in stable/testing/unstable don't work
in major of case as I saw, experimental one with latest upstream version
and other patches have many fixes for newer hardware and newer gcc and
also other improvements related to grub, can you test it please?

trying

We have now memtest86+ 6.10 which has many rewritten code.
Can you please test if that works now fine?
