When dialling into a telephone conference system the DTMF tones
for the conference ID produced by the popup keypad are not
recognized by the system.
I'm not even sure that I used the correct keypad, as it has an
additional column with letters, but I couldn't find another one.
With the old version from buster I don't have such problems.

This is a bug report against the binary package linphone,
for which Debian unstable only provides 4.2.5-3, not against
the source package linphone, for which a newer version exists.

2833).  You can configure which to use under: Menu -> Preferences ->
Network -> Transport -> DTMFs sending method

Let me know if switching that fixes this for you.  Also, could you
tell me which teleconferencing system you're connecting to (vendor,
product, version)?  That information can be helpful in tracking
interoperability problems.
