Dear Maintainer,

I'm observing a regression on a Dell Precision 5750 running kernel 5.10.0-7-amd64.

Sound (output and mic) used to work just fine, but a recent update must have
broken something, as no audio devices are detected anymore. Alsa config has not
changed, firmware files are still in place (Debian package firmware-sof-signed
1.6.1-2), but suddenly, the device initialization fails to happen properly.

The first error seems to be (cf. kernel logs below)
    soundwire sdw:2:25d:1308:0: Probe not complete, timed out

Any idea what may cause this? The hardware is functional and works normally
when booting Windows, so a hardware issue can be ruled out.
