Dear Maintainer,
* What led up to the situation?
Suspend on critical battery status.
* What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or ineffective)?
All suspend options works ok (manually, closing the laptop lid, by time), but
on ' critical battery status auto suspend ' (and after connecting charger)
laptop wake up with the screen completely frozen. In fact, if I close the lid
again, the power indicator shows that it is suspended again, but the screen
does not turn off.
* What was the outcome of this action?
Computer session unusable
* What outcome did you expect instead?
Same behaviour that all other suspend option. I know there is a ' blacklisting
' i915 driver option to solve this, but that option is not useful to me since I
need a longer battery life duration.
Thank you in advance for any help.
