Dear Maintainer, I recently upgraded to Debian 11, gimp is barely usable for some reason. If I do a rectangle select, and then select invert, it will take quite a few seconds and select random square shaped areas. Terminal output yielded *** BUG *** In pixman_region32_init_rect: Invalid rectangle passed Set a breakpoint on '_pixman_log_error' to debug Thanks
Dear Maintainer, Turns out that some settings I was trying out for GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT in /etc/default/grub were likely the culprit for the gimp issue. After I removed the option and did a sudo update-grub and rebooted, gimp's behavior was working very well and fast like before. The options that gimp didn't seem to like proceed. irqpoll acpi=off noapic nolapic
