Documentation for hardware (Raspi Compute Module 4) states usb ports disabled by default and provides a method to enable them at boot with raspian config.txt . The same method does not work with this Debian image.

FWIW we deal with installations that were performed using the Debian Installer; I'm putting the maintainers of the relevant Raspberry Pi tooling in copy. You didn't need any extra DTB to get your CM4 to boot? Or did you skip mentioning extra steps regarding the deployment of the raspi.debian.net provided image? Cheers,
Hi Cyril, Appreciate the swift response, hopefully the raspi team can help. No other steps were needed just wrote the image to the eMMC with balena and plugged it in.
