Comments/Problems:

The system installs fine and runs apparently perfectly when no external monitor
is attached.

When I attach an external monitor, there are glitches on that monitor, some
rows of the LED array are garbled. The lines are scattered over the monitor.
When moving the mouse or using the keyboard, these lines change and scatter over
the monitor in other ways.

At some point, after half an hour, the system froze totally and I had to
hard-reboot.


Please make sure that any installation logs that you think would
be useful are attached to this report. Please compress large
files using gzip.

The dmesg output attached to this report shows a number of 'nouveau'
driver-related error messages.
