Dear Maintainer,

When I changed the email address of an account in settings dialog of the account, Thunderbird 78 goes in a infinite loop.
It did not respond to click, its window cannot be displayed after a moment.
I must killed Thunderbird and restart, then all work fine but the change had been well saved.

Expected : When I change the email address of an account, Thunderbird should give back the hand to the user after some seconds and should not go in an infinite loop.

Basically you will need to check that you can exclude

 1. any extension is causing the problem
 2. that your profile is somehow misbehaving
 3. the Debian packaged version is working differently than the upstream
    binaries
