Hello,

thank you for your report. I have quickly checked with upstream and
nothing obvious came to their mind.

Can you confirm, that you can get sound from other applications working
in the same setup? Pulseaudio routing should be pretty transparent for
the application.

Thank you. Antonin

Hi,

it is only atari800, which is having the sound problems. All applications work OK. I compiled latest version of atari800 and the sound problems are the same like in packaged version. Maybe if somebody else could test that their atari800 over HDMI/DP sounds OK, then I would consider this as a strange local problem (since all apps are/sound just fine).
Further I could say that if there is a sound, the sound is intermittent and for example beep sound (like Atari sound test screen in Atari "bios") is a slightly like a ringing tone and probably also a bit out of tune. If there is no sound after I run atari800, and then I play with sound settings (like turn off/on sound inside atari800) , I could get sometimes sound of above-described sound "quality".
