Dear Maintainer, A new GUI is available for Zynaddsubfx: Zyn-fusion https://zynaddsubfx.sourceforge.io/zyn-fusion.html The engine evolves and now includes some changes linked to this new interface (typically precision and/or range of the knobs/sliders/..., OSC control,...). Some of them doesn't work with the former GUI, leading to unexpected behaviors. Would it be possible to include this new GUI in the package? Thanks. P.B.
Dear maintainer, I would also be happy if this new GUI was included in the package. Cheers Erwan
Dear maintainer, I add my voice here, zyn-fusion brings lot of values, it will be great to have it in Debian. Thanks Nico
Hello I would like to know if a new GUI will appear for this program . Thanks Nico ATTENTION : changement d'adresse mail, veuillez me joindre désormais à calistonicolas@tutanota.com
Hi guys, sorry, i can't help with that atm. If you know how to include the new gui properly, feel free to contribute: https://salsa.debian.org/multimedia-team/zynaddsubfx/ Best regards, Dennis
Hi, I think the following link can help devs for upgrading zynaddsubfx to the Zyn-fusion interface: https://github.com/zynaddsubfx/zyn-fusion-build Summary of the Readme: Zyn-Fusion Build Scripts These are the build scripts used to generate the Zyn-Fusion packages. These build scripts (and only these build scripts) are licensed under the WTFPL Regards Jean-Philippe
By the way, some people tell that Zyn-fusion is not working well (see messages on http://lists.sourceforge.net/mailman/listinfo/zynaddsubfx-user). I didn't test it myself but upgrading to Zyn-fusion does not seem to be a priority. Another solution (if possible): compile two versions of zynaddsubfx, the "old" interface and the new one (zyn-fusion).
Hi all, I'm adding some information here. Caution here, if I'm not wrong, the upstream developement is on Zyn-Fusion rather than the oldish-GUI. Hence a few new features are only usable in the zyn-fusion GUI which can make it a priority. Agreed here, that would be the best solution. Bye all and take care. Olivier
Any news about zyn-fusion for Debian? It seems a very important software for music production, and currently zynaddsubfx fltk interfaz doesn't work with Ardour 9.5. Has anybody tried to compile the new zyn-fusion interfaz? Do exist any problem for packaging it in Debian? Greets.
