libglade is obsolete, and is no longer maintained by its former upstream developers. The supported replacement is GtkBuilder, available since GTK+ 2.12. Official migration guide: https://developer.gnome.org/gtk2/stable/gtk-migrating-GtkBuilder.html smcv
This is only the libglade-convert script for converting pre-2001 (sic) glade files. I can adopt or NMU (whatever you prefer) libglade2 with the trivial fix of removing this script. cu Adrian
Adrian, are you still willing to NMU this? Are there any other news? Best regards, Tormod (xscreensaver)
Control: severity -1 serious The last upstream upload was 14.5 years ago and the reverse dependent packages have had 5.5 years to migrate away from libglade2. There are not many reverse dependencies left, most of which are dead upstream. Therefore, I am raising the severity of this bug so libglade2 is not released with trixie.

you are upstream and Debian maintainer for this package. Could you give
some update please, whether you see some chance to solve this issue? If
not we might consider removing this package.
Kind regards
